FAQ

Why does my pair look slightly different from the photos, or from other pairs I've seen?

Because every pair is cut and stitched from genuine bovine leather — not a synthetic material — no two pairs are ever perfectly identical. Real leather carries its own natural grain, subtle markings, and tone variation from hide to hide, and the patina (the way the leather's colour and sheen develop) will differ slightly from pair to pair. This isn't a flaw — it's proof you're wearing genuine leather rather than a mass-produced, uniform synthetic. Think of it the same way you would a well-made leather bag or a pair of leather boots: the character is the point.

Will the colour fade over time?

The dyed top finish will naturally soften and develop character with wear, especially in high-friction areas like the straps and footbed, and with exposure to heat and sun. As this happens, the natural patina of the leather underneath comes through — giving your sandals a warmer, richer, more lived-in look the longer you wear them. Many people find this "broken-in" leather look even more beautiful than the sandals fresh out of the box, similar to how quality leather jackets, boots, and bags age.

How should I care for my leather sandals?

  • Wipe off dust or dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth
  • Let them air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight, if they get wet
  • Condition the leather every few months with a leather conditioner or natural oil to keep it supple
  • Avoid prolonged submersion in water

What size should I order?

We recommend ordering your true, everyday shoe size. Genuine leather molds to the shape of your foot as you wear it in, so a snug initial fit will loosen into a personalized, comfortable fit over the first few wears. See our full Size Guide for detailed EU/US/UK conversions.
